Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh Inflasi dan suku bunga SBI terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Indonesia selama periode 1986 sampai 2008. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder, yaitu data posisi inflasi, data tingkat suku bunga SBI dan data pertumbuhan ekonomi. Variabel yang digunakan adalah pertumbuhan ekonomi sebagai variabel dependen, inflasi dan tingkat suku bunga SBI sebagai variabel independen. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model regresi berganda metode least squares. Hasil regresi menunjukkan bahwa masing-masing koefisien variabel adalah sebesar 8,828546; -0,22058 and -0,061855 dengan t-hitung lebih besar daripada t-tabel, artinya pengaruh inflasi adalah negatif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, tingkat suku bunga SBI adalah negatif dan berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Tingkat kepercayaan yang diperoleh adalah sebesar 95 persen (a = 0,05) dan F hitung sebesar 40,94001 lebih besar dari F tabel (40,94001 > 3,10).
