Abstract

This study examines the utilization of business capital assistance throught the Tanjung Enim Unit BRI KUR Program for martabak traders in Lawang Kidul sub-district, Muara Enim Regency. This study aims to see how the steps and benefits generated by martabak traders after utilizing the business capital loan obtained from the Tanjung Enim Unit BRI KUR Program in increasing the economic value and walfare of martabak traders in Lawang Kidul sub-district, Muara Enim Regency as KUR user. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method using data collection techniques in the from of interview, observation and documentation. This study uses James S.Coleman’s theory of rational choice. The results showed that the use of the Tanjung Enim Unit BRI KUR program as additional business capital loan for martabak traders had a positive impact in increasing the economic value and social welfare value of martabak traders in Lawang Kidul District, Muara Enim Regency, this can be seen from the increase in yields. Business so that martabak traders can meet the cost of education for children up to university and can send money to familiesin their hometowns.
