Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan mengenai peran nyata yang dilakukan oleh Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) dalam membantu korban konflik kemanusiaan Etnis Rohingya yang mengungsi ke kota Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. EtnisRohingya adalah kelompok yang mendapatkan kekerasan kemanusiaan dan juga pengusiran dari tanah kelahiran mereka oleh pemerintah Myanmar. ACT sebagai LSM/NGO yang bergerak dibidang sosial sudah pasti ikut berpartisipasi dalam membantu Etnis Rohingya, dengan cara melakukan aksi nyata memberikan bantuan berupa makanan, pakaian, dan juga obat-obatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teori Peran NGO oleh Peter Willetsyang digunakan penulis untuk meneliti peran nyata yang dilakukan oleh ACT dalam membantu Etnis Rohingya.Data yang didapatkan penulis melalui metode kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah hingga saat ini ACT masih terus melakukan aksi-aksi nyatanya dalam membantu Etnis Rohingya, ACT juga telah membentuk tim khusus untuk membantu Etnis Rohingyayang dinamakan Sympathy of solidarity (SOS) Rohinggya. Kata kunci : Aksi Cepat Tanggap, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Kota Cox’s Bazar, Aksi Nyata, Mengungsi, LSM, NGO ABSTRACT This research explains the real role played by Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) in helping RohingyaEthnic human conflict victims who fled to the city of Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. The RohingyaEthnic group has been subject to humanitarian violence and also expulsion from their homeland by the Myanmar government. ACT as an LSM/NGO engaged in the social sector has certainly participated in helping RohingyaEthnics, by taking real actions to provide assistance in the form of food, clothing, and medicine. This research uses the NGO Role Theory by Peter Willets which the author uses to examine the real role played by ACT in helping the RohingyaEthnicity. The data obtained by the author through qualitative methods. The result of this research is that up to now ACT is still taking real action in helping RohingyaEthnicities, ACT has also formed a special team to help RohingyaEthnicians called the Rohinggya Sympathy of solidarity (SOS).
