Abstract

The inslability of monetary situation rellected from the foreign exchange rates. inflation, and interest rate of Bank Indonesia Certificates has led to chaos in Ihe economy. It certainiy shows the influence of macro econoiny on the stock price index in the stock market. This was aimed at identifying how the foreign exchange rates, inflation, and interest rates on Bank Indonesia certificates influence the stock price index at the Jakarta Stock Exchange. The data were taken from the monthlv reports from January 2008 to December 2012 and analyzed using the multiple linear regression through SPSS program. It was found that there was a negative and significant influence of the foreign exchange rates and the Bank Indonesia Certificates on the Indonesian Composite Stock Price Index. Additionally, the inllation had a positive and significant influence on the Indonesian Compositc Stock Price Index at the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
