Abstract

Inadequate production of stripping overburden and coal is necessary to be evaluated in the performance of the excavator and transport that works on the stripping overburden at the CTSP Mine location in December 2019. The results of the research show that based on calculations, the actual productivity of the PC 300 backhoe is obtained and the Hino260 dump truck has productivity respectively 116.8 BCM / hour and 12.97 BCM / hour, 118.2 tons / hour and 11.3 tons / hour so that the achievement of overburden stripping only reaches 77,535 BCM and 30,101 tonnes or about 71% and 85% of the planned target. The main factor affecting the performance of the PC 300 backhoe digger and Hino260 transport which causes the inadequacy of overburden stripping production is the operator efficiency factor in the form of high time constraints due to the large number of work constraints. The high loss time causes the effective working time of only 332 hours and mechanical devices only have availability based on physical avaibility of 98%, mechanical avaibility of 97%, use of avaibility of 59% ,. The new effective working time improvement increased to 393 hours with a work efficiency of 63%. Based on the repair efforts that have been made, the actual productivity value of the repair results for the PC 300 backhoe and Hino260 is 112,312 BCM and 42,355 tons, respectively, with the achievement of overburden stripping and coal production increasing by about 30% and 36%.
