Abstract

This research w as aimed identifying the influence of Bank Indonesia obligations interest rates and inflation on the funding collection by third party banks in South Sumatra. The research results that the determinant coefficient of R2 = 0.4007 indicates such collection (Y) simultaneously influenced the interest rates (XI) and inflation (X2) in South Sumatra as much as 40.07%, the rest of 59.03% was influenced by other factors. The F test resulted in F obtained of 7.023 > F table (0.05; 2; 21) = 3.47. in the words, the variables of XI and X2 simultaneously influenced the Y variable significantly. Therefore, the interest rates and inflation in South Sumatra showed a positive and significant influence on the funding collection by the third party banks in South Sumatra
