Abstract

This study analyzed the factors that affected the rubber exports in South Sumatera from the year 1996 to 2010 using the domestic and world rubber prices, South Sumateran GDP, and rubber exporters and importers ’ revenues. In this study, the log linear regression analysis of Ordinary Least Square was applied to analyze the data. Based on the flndings, it could be concluded that statistically The world rubber prices and importers revenues had a significant injluence on rubber exports in Southern Sumatra. The influence of the world rubber prices and importers revenues was positive. The domestic rubber price and Southern Sumatra GDP had no significant effect on rubber exports in Southern Sumatera.
