Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh aplikasi abu vulkanik dan pupuk kandang terhadap perubahan pH, KTK, dan Basa Tertukar Tanah Ultisol. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Rumah Kaca Jurusan Tanah;Laboratorium Kimia, Biologi, dan Kesuburan Tanah, Jurusan Tanah, Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari- Juli 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap Faktorial (RALF) yang terdiri dari 2 faktor yaitu faktorabu vulkanik Gunung Sinabung yang terdiri dari 3 taraf, yaitu : Av0 (0 tonha-1), Av1 (10tonha-1), Av2 (20tonha-1), dan faktor pupuk kandang kotoran sapiyang terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu : Ks0 (0 tonha-1), Ks1 (10 tonha-1), Ks2 (20tonha-1). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan abu vulkanik memberikan pengaruh yang tidak nyata terhadap peubah yang diamati pada seluruh periode pengamatan. Perlakuan pupuk kandang kotoran sapi diketahui berpengaruh nyata terhadap peubahCa-dd tanah pada inkubasi 2 MST dan 6 MST. Interaksi kedua perlakuan memberikan pengaruh yang tidak nyata terhadap peubah yang diamati pada seluruh periode pengamatan
