Abstract

The research explains how the attitude of the Indonesian government to overcome dependence on conservative fossil fuels. In this study, the author focused on the energy diplomacy taken by the Government to overcome the problems. This study uses the concept of a strategy to understand and measure the factors resulting from the strategies taken by the Indonesian Government. The data obtained by the author through qualitative methods. The results of this study indicate that there are several strategies carried out by the Indonesian Government, namely establishing several cooperations with other countries in order to developing of renewable energy sources.
