Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze that the motivation of quality and economic motivation positively affects the interest of accounting students to follow the education profession Accounting (PPAk). The population in this research is the student accounting University Sriwijaya Palembang. Data collection techniques use a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data obtained is then analyzed by multiple linear regression analyses using SPSS. The results of this research show that the motivation of quality has a positive and significant impact on the interest of accounting students to follow the education profession Accounting (PPAk). The results also show that the economic motivation has a positive and significant impact on the interest of accounting students for the Education Profession Accounting (PPAk).
