Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on performance of health workers at west Prabumulih public health center. The population of this study was all of health workers at west Prabumulih public health center the were 137 health workers. The sampling technique used sratified random sampling and there were 58 people as the respondents. The data collection method used in this study was primary data from the questionnaire. The analysis technique used was a simple linier regression analysis. Based on the result of the analysis, it was conclude that emotional intelligence had a positive and significant effect on performance of health workers at west Prabumulih public health center. Prabumulih public health center should hold activities or training that can improve the emotional intelligence of health workers at the west Prabumulih health center.
