Abstract

Anthracnose disease in Indonesia has several types of causes, namely Collectotrichum acutatum, C. gloeosporioides and C. capsicii among those species which are dominant in the Indonesian region are C. Acutatum. The purpose of this study was to determine the harvest time and layout direction of mound against the development of antrachnos disease in the Village of Simpang Pelabuhan Dalam in Pemulutan Ogan Ilir District. This research was carried out in the chili planting area in the village Simpang pelabuhan Dalam in Pemulutan Ogan Ilir District and Fitopatology Laboratory, Department of Pests and Plant Diseases, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The time for conducting this research began in July 2018 until completion. This study uses the case method with random sampling techniques. Determination of the location used as the location of the research is find the location of the land of farmers who grow chili plants. mound of chili plants pointing North-South (P-I) and West-East (P-II) each field has 20 shipyard every shipyards each containing 90 chili plants (1800 plants). The results of the study showed that the percentage of chilli plants infected with anthracnose showed the highest percentage of infected chili plants at the first time of observation (P-1), which was 68.75% in the North-South direction (1 U-S plot). Observation of the percentage of fruit infected with anthracnose showed that the highest infected Chili in the first observation (P-1) was 59.49 in the North-South ridge (Grid 2 U-S). Observation of the percentage of chili fruit infected with anthracnose based on the results of the 5% BNJ test showed that the highest percentage of infected fruit was 37.4398% in harvesting 1 (P-1). Observation of the severity percentage of chilli infected with anthracnose based on the results of the 5% BNJ test showed that the highest percentage of infected fruit was 33.5930% at observation 1 (P-1).
