Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) Analyzing vegetable marketing channels in Pematang Bango Village North Pagaralam District Pagar Alam City. (2) Analyze the margins and analyze the fluctuating price of vegetables in Pematang Bango Village North Pagaralam District of Pagar Alam City. (3) Analyze the elasticity of price transmission at the consumer level against farmers level prices in Pematang Bango Village North Pagaralam District Pagar Alam City. Data collection at the research site is carried out in February 2020 until completion. The sample withdrawal method used in this study is a simple random method by using formulas by sampling as many as 30 farmers. The data collected in this study consists of two types of data, namely primary data and secondary data. Marketing channel in Pematang Bango Village North Pagar Alam District Pagar Alam City there are three patterns of marketing channels. The highest price fluctuation occurred in mustard vegetables by 33.33 percent. The lowest fluctuation occurred in eggfly vegetables at 12.61%. Elasticity of transmission price eggfly β = 0.640. The price of chili β = 0.280 and mustard price β = 0.745. The elasticity of the transmission of the price of vegetables indicates the value of β < 1, meaning the pemasarnnya inefficient.
