Abstract

The objectives of this research are (1) to identify the types of farming in the villages of Pulau Semambu, Parit, and Bakung, North Indralaya Sub District, Ogan Ilir District (2) to calculate the average price of land for farm products and transportation costs for marketing in Pulau Semambu, Parit, and Bakung Villages, North Indralaya Sub District, Ogan Ilir District (3) To see the influence between distance and transportation costs on land prices in Pulau Semambu, Parit, and Bakung Villages, North Indralaya Sub District, Ogan Ilir District. The research method used was a survey method. The sampling method in this study used a simple random withdrawal method in which the sample determination used the Slovin formula. The data collected in this study are primary and secondary data. The results showed that (1) most of the type of farming found in Pulau Semambu Village are horticultural commodity, Parit Village is mostly secondary crops, while Bakung Village is mostly secondary crops (2) Furthermore, the average expected value of land in Pulau Semambu Village reaching Rp. 107.069.894/Ha, Parit Village reaching Rp. 81.574.236/Ha, and Bakung Village reaching Rp. 65.719.530/Ha (3) In the analysis of Chi-Square Test between distance and land price obtained Asymp Value. Sig. (2-sided) 0.002 < 0.05 while the result of the chi square test analysis between transportation costs and land prices obtained Asymp Value. Sig (2-Sided) 0.001 < 0,05 where both H1 are received which means there is a relationship or influence between distance and transportation costs on local land prices.
