Abstract

This research aims to know the influence the competitiveness of exports of mineral fuel and rubber against economic growth in South Sumatra. This research uses descriptive analysis techniques and quantitative analysis, namely the competitiveness (RCA) and multiple linear regression methods. The scope of the data used in this research is the time series data of GDP of South Sumatra from the years 2007-2017. The results showed a significantly variable is the index of mineral fuels of the RCA's most dominant determines GDP. RCA rubber and mineral fuels positive effect against GDP. While statistically index RCA rubber was not significant effect against the GDP.
