Abstract

The objective of this research was to find out the influence of SBI interest rates, inflation, and non-performing loans on the investment credit at commercial banks in Indonesia. The data used i n this research were the secondary data i n the period of January 2007-December 2012 ffom the publication of Bank of Indonesia. The technique of data analysis was a multiple regression model using the ordinary least squares method. Investment credit was the dependent variable; SBI interest rates. inflation, and non- performing loans were the independent variables. The data were analyzed by using the E-views 6.0 program. The research results showed that the SBI interest rates had a significant negative influence on the investment credit at commercial banks; inflation rates had an insignificant negative influence on the investment credit; and nonperforming loans had a significant negative influence on the investment credit at commercial banks in Indonesia.
