Abstract

The purpose of this research is: 1) knowing the performance of UPPB Medang Jaya, Serikembang Village, Ogan Ilir Regency during the Covid-19 pandemic, 2) Analyzing the differences in income of UPPB Medang Jaya member farmers before and during the Covid-19 pandemic, .3) Looking at the relationship between UPPB performance and farmer income during the pandemic. This research was conducted in Serikembang Village in February 2021. The location was chosen purposively. The research method used in this research is a survey method. The sampling method used was simple random sampling method. The total population of UPPB Medang Jaya members in 2021 is 529 people by determining the criteria used, namely rubber farmers who are members of UPPB Medang Jaya, having a minimum land area of two hectares, and a minimum plant age of 5 years, the number of samples to be taken is 30 UPPB rubber farmers Medang Jaya as the research sample. The data collected in this study are primary data and secondary data. The results of this study indicate that the average score of UPPB Medang Jaya service function performance during the Covid-19 pandemic is 37.15 which is in the interval 35.00 ≤ x ≤ 49.00 in the moderate category. Based on the results of the calculation of the Paired Sample t-test in SPSS, the Sig. 2 tailed = 0.006 <0.05, where Ho rejects means that there is a difference in the income of member farmers before and during the pandemic and based on the results of the Rank-Spearman calculation at SPSS, the significance value is 0.002 and the correlation coefficient value is 0.534, which means that there is a strong relationship between performance UPPB with the income of member farmers during the Covid-19 pandemic.
