Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal fisika pada pokok bahasan dinamika rotasi di SMA Srijaya Negara kelas XI. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes essay. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMA Srijaya Negara Kelas XI tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Berdasarkan analisis data, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa soal yang paling sulit adalah nomor 4, dimana yang paling besar persentasenya adalah kesulitan mendeskripsikan soal 83% dan kesulitan memahami soal adalah 82%. Sedangkan setelah dirata-ratakan pada setiap jenis kesulitan maka didapatkan kesulitan memahami soal 32,9% dengan tingkat kesulitan mudah, kesulitan mendeskripsikan soal 49,4% dengan tingkat kesulitan sedang, kesulitan pemahaman konsep 1,1% dengan tingkat kesulitan sangat mudah, dan kesulitan matematika 0,5% dengan tingkat kesulitan sangat mudah. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi tentang kesulitan siswa menyelesaikan soal fisika pada pokok bahasan dinamika rotasi.
