Abstract

This study is aimed at finding out the influence of the production costs which consist of the raw materials cost, direct labor cost, overhead costs, and total revenue ( TR ) on the profit rate of the coffee processing industry in Indonesia. The method used is descriptive qualitative methods to make calculation with equation TR-BP and variance Fisher and Wilks. Average growth production costs coffe processing industry is 8,91 percent Average growth rate benefits coffee Processing industry is 6,7 percent. The highest during the five-year observation occurs at the end of 2002 of 2.667.814 million. Result of the recapitulation variance for total revenue is 1.864.365 million, and the cost production 4.309.067 million. Thus the factor which most affected high profit is production cost.
