Abstract

This research is aimed to find out and analyze industry performance of cofFee cleaning and peeling viewed from economic efficiency level and manpower productivity. The data collection taken from the period of 2001 until 2010 or the last ten years. The data used were the secondary ones taken from Badan Pusat Statistik (The Central Bureau of Statistics). The result of the research showed that during 2001-2010 the industry performance of coffee peeling and cleaning in Indonesia was good enough in which the average growth level of productivity was 36, 29 % per year while the level of economic efficiency level tended not efficient. This can be seen from the efficiency value of less than 1 as the comparison between the additional value and the medium cost was smaller or less than 1. The difference was small because the medium cost was bigger compared with additional value produced by the industry. The average efficiency growth at the coffee cleaning and peeling industry was 10, 39 % in which the average efficiency level was 0, 24.
