Abstract

The objective of this research was to determine the influence of economic growth, inflation and working Capital loan interest rates on the demand for working Capital loans at commercial banks in Indonesia. The data used m this study were the secondary data in the period of 1990-2013 obtained through the publication of Bank of Indonesia. The technique of analysis was multiple regression with the ordinary least squares method. The demand for working Capital loans was the dependent variable, while economic growth, inflation and working Capital loan interest rates were the independent variables. The data were processed by using Eviews 6.0. The results of the study showed that economic growth had a significant positive influence on the demand for working Capital loans at commercial banks in Indonesia. Inflation had a significant positive influence on the demand for working Capital loans at commercial banks in Indonesia, and working Capital loan interest rates had a significant negative influence on the demand for working Capital loans at commercial banks in Indonesia.
