Abstract

The objectives of this study were: First to analyze the factors of production, Capital and labor affecting the small-scale industry in the District of Pedamaran, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, and second to analyze the retums to scale in the purun woven handicraft small-scale industry in the Distict of Pedamaran. The data used in this study were the pimary data. This study used the multiple regression model with the OLS method and the Cobb-Douglas production function of the variables production, Capital, and labor. The research results showed that the variabies production, Capital and labor had a significant positive influence on the small-scale industrial production of purun woven handicrafts, respectively 0,9026 and 0,9006. The position of retums to scale in the purun woven handicraft smallscale industry in the District of Pedamaran was in a State of increasing retums to scale, where the value of cii + p > 1 (1,8032).
