Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan barrier hops terhadap hasil tendangan lurus depan pencak silat pada atlet putra HIMSSI GP Ogan Ilir. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen semu yang artinya hanya sampel yang diberi perlakuan. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total population sampling dengan jumlah sampel 40 orang. Instrument penelitian adalah seluruh sampel melakukan tes tendangan lurus depan. Dari hasil pengolahan dan analisis data dengan menggunakan uji normalitas data dan uji hipotesis dengan rumus uji t, bahwa latihan barrier hops berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil tendangan lurus depan pencak silat. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil analisis data melalui perhitungan rumus uji t dengan kriteria t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel (5.515 ˃ 1,70) dengan taraf kepercayaan 0,95 (α = 0,05) dan jumlah sampel (N = 40). Latihan barrier hops memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil tendangan lurus depan pencak silat pada atlet putra HIMSSI GP Ogan Ilir.
