Abstract

BETHA TATA BAHTERA. Identifikasi dan Patogenisitas Jamur Terbawa Benih Jagung (Zea Mays) (Dibimbing oleh HARMAN HAMIDSON). Salah satu penyebab nurunnya hasil produksi tanaman jagung adalah jamur patogen yang terbawa oleh benih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengidentifikasi dan mengetahui patogenisitas jamur terbawa benih jagung. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus s.d. November 2020 di laboratorium fitopatologi dan lahan percobaan jurusan ilmu hama dan penyakit tumbuhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan terdiri dari 6 varietas (Lamuru, Srikandi Kuning Anoman, Bisma, Sukmaraga, Lokal Indralaya) dan 5 ulangan. Setelah pengamatan didapatkan bahwasannya jamur patogen yang terbawa benih adalah Aspergillus sp., Penicillium sp., Rhizopus sp., Mucor sp. Benih jagung rata-rata tumbuh pada umur 4 hari. Intensitas serangan penyakit Aspergilus sp relative sedang dan untuk serangan tertinggi pada varietas Anoman, untuk intensitas serangan penyakit Mucor sp serangan tertinggi juga terjadi pada varietas Anoman dan untuk intensitas serangan penyakit Rhizopus sp varietas yang paling tinggi seranganya adalah varietas Bonanza.
