Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Peranan Kyai Haji Ali Umar Thoyyib dalam Penyebaran Tarekat Haddadiyah di Kecamatan Ilir Timur II Kota Palembang Tahun 1983-2008. Permasalahan yang diangkat adalah bagaimana peranan Kyai Haji Ali Umar Thoyyib dalam Penyebaran Tarekat Haddadiyah di Kecamatan Ilir Timur II Kota Palembang Tahun 1983-2008. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk menjelaskan peranan Kyai Haji Ali Umar Thoyyib dalam Penyebaran Tarekat Haddadiyah di Kecamatan Ilir Timur II Kota Palembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian sejarah. Pada penelitian ini juga telah menunjukkan bahwa peranan Kyai Haji Ali Umar Thoyyib dalam Penyebaran Tarekat Haddadiyah tidak dapat dipisahkan dari peranan majelis Awwbien, sejak 1983. Ustadz Ali mengadakan pembacaan ratib haddad di masjid Darul Muttaqin setelah sholat Isya. Banyak dari kalangan masyarakat yang ikut pembacaan ratib haddad di masjid Darul Muttaqin, oleh karena itu sebagian masyarakat yang ikut, ada keinginan mengundang Ustadz Ali dalam pembacaan ratib haddad di sekitaran masjid yang ada di kecamatan Ilir Timur II, ditahun 1990 inilah, Ustadz Ali sudah mengisi pembacaan ratib haddad dibeberapa masjid di Kecamatan Ilir Timur II, Seperti masjid Lawang Kidul, masjid An-Nur 10 Ilir, dan lain-lain. Pada tahun 2001 Ustadz Ali menyebarkan ratib haddad dari buku pedoman yang ia buat dan dibagikannya serta dijual bagi beberapa jama’ah yang ingin mengamalkannya.
