Abstract
This research is a type of experimental research the purpouse to find how much increase in power and torque after the replacement of clutch springs. In this test using three types of clutch spring that is standard clutch spring, coil clutch type RMG and TDR type clutch spring. The test was performed using a speed measuring instrument (dynotest) with a variation of engine speed starting at 4000-8000 Rpm with an increase of 1000 Rpm with six transmission positions. The data used from this test is the increase of torque and power of each type of clutch spring. From the results obtained data is analyzed in the form of graphs and tables to facilitate the explanation of the test results on the turn of the clutch spring. The results of this research showed after using a clutch type RMG power of 8.22 Ps and average torque of 9.18 Nm. For the use of TDR type coupling springs obtained the average power of 8.64 Ps and average torque of 10.16 Nm.
