Abstract

Green mustard is a vegetable commodity that has commercial value and good prospects. But lack of nutrients and improper nutrients can decrease the productivity and quality of mustard plants. Another factor that can decrease the productivity of green mustard is the attack of pests / diseases of plants such as sprouts. One of the preventions for plants attacked by sprouts is to use chemical pesticides. But its use can damage the environment and human health of even animals. One solution to the problem is to use PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria). The provision of PGPR is expected to be able to provide the necessary nutrients of plants called plant nutrients (plant nutrients) to prevent sprouts. The application of PGPR is done at the time of seed immersion before the seed is planted. With 6 treatments and 4 replays processed using anova. The results of the research that has been carried out that the lowest pre emergence damping off attack rate is in the treatment of banana roots with a concentration of 20ml / L (AP2) with the percentage of stricken seeds that is 2.94% and the lowest post emergence damping off attacks are in the treatment of elephant gass with a concentration of 10ml / L and 20ml / L, banana roots with a concentration of 20ml / L with the percentage of stricken is 1.38%. Giving PGPR is able to increase the height of the plant seen in the results of the treatment AP1 (banana root concentration 10ml / L) with the height of the first week plant 4.13cm and the second week 10.05cm. While in the high control treatment of the plant the first week was 3.60cm and the second week was 6.95cm. Laboratory results of gram PGPR coloring test of elephant gass roots and banana roots are gram negative because bacteria do not retain gram A dye containing violet crystals, bacteria turn pink. The morphology of rhizosphere bacteria seen on the microscope is the shape of basil and cous on banana and basil roots. Kokus, as well as spores on elephant grass roots.
