Abstract

The research that has been carried out by researchers aims to apply the Open-Ended Learning Model in Business and Energy subjects to improve the Creative Thinking Skills of Class X Students at SMA IT Raudhatul Ulum Sakatiga. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study were 23 students of class X SMA IT Raudhatul Ulum Sakatiga. Data collection was carried out on February 5 to February 6, 2021. Research data was obtained through tests and documentation. Data collection uses existing instruments, which are 4 essay questions. The results showed that students experienced an increase in Creative Thinking Skills. Indicators of Creative Thinking Skills that are often used by students are fluent thinking, flexible thinking, and original thinking, while elaboration thinking is still less dominant. The obstacle in this study was the lack of time to carry out this learning due to COVID-19, so that every 1 meeting was cut off by 15 minutes.
