Abstract
This study aims to determine the learning process related to the interaction between instructors with learners, materials that become learning materials, and methods used in learning music school. In this research using quantitative descriptive approach to know the learning process that exist in music school. Student population in the music school as many as 310 learners, sampling technique used is Propositional Random Sampling, then the samples taken as much as 15%. Respondents in this study consisted of learners who use musical instruments namely Piano, Keyboard, Violin, Guitar, and Drum. Data collection is done by three methods, namely Observation, Questionnaire, and Documentation. The result of the research shows that the interaction between the instructor and the students is well established. This can be seen from 20 students have communication level to the instructor is high. The curriculum, syllabus, and learning materials of music school are coming from the institution of music education, and the instructional method used by the instructor is by the method of practice and practice. This includes how to play musical instruments, listen to melodies, read musical notes and create a fun learning environment. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that this learning process which consists of the initial activities, core activities, and the end of learning activities are in accordance with the procedures of music schools.
