Abstract

Penelitian deskriptif bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat motivasi belajar Peserta didik kelas XI yang ada di SMA Negeri 3 Palembang. Populasi penelitian yang di tentukan berjumlah 1300 Peserta didik dengan sampel 459 Peserta didik, di pilih dengan tehnik purposive samping dan di kumpulkan menggunakan angket motivasi belajar . Analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase. analisis data menunjukkan bahwa tingkat motivasi belajar Peserta didik di SMA Negeri 3 Palembang pada kategori tinggi (7%), kemudian kategori Sedang (85%), dan kategori rendah (8%). kategorisasi Motivasi belajar peserta didik ditinjau dari aspek ekstrinsik dan intrinsik, presentase tertinggi berada pada aspek ekstrinsik dengan kategori sedang Dengan indikator Penghargaan terhadap belajar (0,67). Dan presentase tertinggi pada aspek intrinsik dengan indikator adanya keinginan belajar (0,63). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah motivasi belajar peserta didik di SMA Negeri 3 Palembang berada pada kategori sedang dan di tinjau dari aspek motivasi belajar peserta didik di SMA Negeri 3 Palembang banyak di pengaruhi oleh aspek ekstrinsik.
