Abstract
This study aims to describe the learning independence factors of the participants of the Tracom Tanjung Raja computer course, Ogan Ilir Regency. Independent learning must be possessed by computer course participants. This will be an encouragement for the participants to be able to continue to develop every potential they have. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects in this study were computer course participants totaling five people. Collecting data using interview and observation techniques, the for data analysis using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that of the five course participants had shown attitudes or behaviors that tended to be influenced by internal factors, namely the attitude of responsibility, initiative, confidence, and discipline in learning. However, this research does not rule out the possibility that there are external factors that affect learning independence. These external factors include the availability of facilities or the fulfillment of learning needs and is supported by a less crowded home atmosphere.
