Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of job stress on job productivity in the Account Representative of Palembang Seberang Ulu Tax Office. The variable in this study are job stress as the independent variable and job productivity as the dependent variable. The population of this study was all of the Account Representative of Palembang Seberang Ulu Tax Office, there were 35 Account Representative. This sampling technique used saturated sampling, and used primary data obtained through questionnaires and also used simple regression analysis method as data analysis techniques. The data obtained is tested with validity test, simple linier regression analysis, T-test, analysis of coefficient of correlation (r) and coefficient of determination (R2). The data in this analysis were processed using the Statistical Program for Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 26. The result of this study indicated that there was a negative and significant effect between job stress on job productivity in the Account Representative of Palembang Seberang Ulu Tax Office.
