Abstract

Abstrak Analisa pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kekuatan dari sepeda gunung. Untuk mengetahui titik mana yang mendapatkan beban dan defleksi yang besar, dan mengetahui rangka aman atau tidak. Setelah membuat desain 3D rangka sepeda selanjutnya dilakukan beberapa uji kasus. Bedasarkan studi literatur akan dilakukan dua uji kasus. Pada kasus pertama, akan dikenakan beban pada bagian dudukan / saddle sepeda. Pada uji kasus kedua akan dikenakan beban pada batang kemudi sepeda, bagian dudukan / saddle, dan bagian sekita batang pedal sepeda. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisa beban yang terjadi pada hasil simulasi. Uji kasus I, von Mises bernilai maksimum didaerah sambungan top tube, down tube, dan head tube, sebesar 16.640.606 N/m2. Sedangkan uji kasus II bernilai 17.254.226 N/m2. Uji kasus I terdefleksi secara vertikal dibagian top tube dekat sambungan sebesar 0,018 mm. dan uji kasus II bernilai 0,033 mm. Berdasarkan hasil yang di dapatkan dapat disimpulkan bahwa rangka sepeda aman digunakan. Abstract The analysis in this study aims to analyze the strength of mountain bikes. to find out which points get a large load and deflection, and determine whether the frame is safe or not. After designing a 3D bicycle frame, several load cases were carried out. Based on the literature study, two test cases will be conducted. In the first case, there will be a load on the saddle. In the second test case, a load will be imposed on the bicycle steering rod, saddle, and the part around the bicycle pedal rod. Next, the load analysis that occurs in the simulation results is carried out. Load case I, von Mises is feasible in the area of connection of the top tube, down tube, and head tube, amounting to 16,640,606 N/m2. While load case II is worth 17,254,226 N/m2. Load case I deflected vertically at the top tube near the connection by 0.018 mm. and load case II is 0.033 mm. the results obtained can be obtained that the bicycle frame is safe to use.
