Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of zakat distribution by BAZNAZ Kabupaten Ogan Ilir on material and spiritual mustahik welfare using CIBEST model, and to discover the key elements that affect nearby households from poor to prosperous quadrant. The data used in this research is primary data obtained by means of questionnaires and documentation. Analytical technique used in this research is CIBEST model, Differential Test (T-Test) and Logistics Regression Analysis. The result showed that there was a change in the proportion of Mustahik households in the CIBEST quadrant, both materially and spiritually; reflects on the change in average income of Mustahik after receiving productive zakat funds. Furthermore, in the logistic regressions, the variables that affect the shift of household from poor to prosperous Mustahik households quadrant are the variables of productive zakat, education, employment and income.
