Abstract

Data mining adalah suatu proses pengerukan atau pengumpulan informasi penting dari suatu data yang besar. Klastering adalah metode penganalisaan data, yang sering dimasukkan sebagai salah satu metode Data Mining, yang tujuannya adalah untuk mengelompokkan data dengan karakteristik yang sama ke suatu ‘wilayah’ yang sama dan data dengan karakteristik yang berbeda ke ‘wilayah’ yang lain. KMeans dan Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering (AHC) adalah salah satu metode klastering yang sering digunakan dalam data mining. Maka, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat perbandingan dari metode K-Means dan Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering (AHC). Penelitian ini membandingan dua metode tersebut menggunakan 4 dataset yang memiliki atribut yang berbeda-beda, sehingga menghasilkan nilai Index Internal Measure pada dataset low dimension¸ nilai Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering (AHC) lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai KMeans dan pada dataset high dimension, nilai K-Means lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering (AHC).
