Abstract

Rice plants (Oryza sativa) are staples that directly impact people's lives. Decrease in rice crop production can be triggered by OPT (Oraganism Of Plant Disruptors). One of the OPT in rice plants is walang sangit (Leptocorisa oratorius). The purpose of this study is to find out the interest of imago walang sangit to traps smelling of terasi and fish. This study was conducted from February 2021 to March 2021. This research was conducted by survey and observation method. The results showed symptoms of attack walang sangit has a shape like a brownish dot. Rice maturation phase affects the number of trapped walang sangit. In the mature phase of milk ricebug more trapped than in other phases of maturation. The trap smells of terasi attracts more imago walang sangit than the trap smells of fish and water. Male ricebug imago is more attracted to odor traps than female imago. Imago walang sangit which is active during the day is less than walang sangit which is active in the morning and at night.
