Abstract

HIV AIDS dapat menyerang setiap orang, namun populasi warga binaan merupakan salah satu populasi kunci dalam penyebaran HIV di Indonesia. Mengingat masih tingginya angka kejadian HIV di indonesia dan khusunya pada populasi berisiko warga binaan maka sangat perlu diadakan upaya pencegahan penularan HIV guna menekan angka kejadian HIV dan meniadakan kasus baru serta kematian akibat AIDS. Tujuan penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui faktor faktor yang berhubungan dengan Pencegahan Penularan HIV/AIDS pada WBP di Lapas Kelas I Palembang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik dengan menggunakan desain cross sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 252 responden yang dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi square dan regresi logistik berganda. Menunjukkan hasil perilaku pencegahan penularan HIV/AIDS baik sebesar 15,5% lebih kecil dibanding perilaku pencegahan penularan HIV/AIDS kurang baik (84,5%). 5. Variabel yang berhubungan terhadap pencegahan penularan HIV/AIDS pada WBP di Lapas Kelas I Palembang adalah Variabel Pengetahuan (p-value= 0,022), Sikap (p-value= 0,036), Persepsi Keseriusan (p-value = 0,003), Persepsi Manfaat (p-value = 0,029), dan Persepsi Hambatan (p-value= 0,001). Dengan variabel yang paling dominan yaitu Persepsi Hambatan (PR=4,033). Untuk meningkatkan pencegahan penularan HIV/AIDS pihak lapas perlu memciptakan program seperti memberi akses ruang kepada WBP yang sudah memiliki istri untuk bertemu dengan istri sah yang dibuktikan dengan buku nikah guna menyalurkan hasrat seksual agar terhindar dari perilaku seksual berganti – ganti pasangan (setia kepada pasangannya) dan tentu saja di fasilitasi dengan pemberian kondom gratis.
