Abstract
The problem in giving livestock feed, especially chickens conventionally so far, is that farmers are required to take the time to feed livestock. To overcome these problems the author proposes an IoT-based chicken feed system to overcome the obstacles of farmers in taking the time to provide animal feed. The concept of animal feeding proposed can be operated automatically or manually. In this project, the ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 is used which functions to control the height of the amount of feed in the tube. The RTC DS3231 module is used as a feeder scheduler. The SG90 Servo Motor is used as a driver of the opening and closing of the feed exit and the blynk application which functions as a remote control of the tool made. The experimental results show the system has been running well, where the system can provide animal feed automatically which can be monitored remotely using the blynk application with an average error of feed weight that is inputted to the real amount of feed issued by the system by 0.67% and on the system manual feed weight is input from the blynk application with an average error to the real amount of feed issued by the system of 0.33%.
