Abstract
With the increasing number of cases of COVID-19, the Indonesian people are wary of this virus. One of the symptoms caused is a high body temperature. Therefore, in this final project the author designed a device that can detect the temperature of the human body without any physical contact. This tool can detect normal and abnormal body temperature through monitoring the use of IoT to be able to enter a room. The microcontroller used is the MCU Node with the help of other components such as the MLX90614 sensor, Ultrasonic HCSR04 sensor, Solenoid Door Lock, Buzzer, LED and LCD. The mechanism of this tool is when the MLX90614 sensor reads the temperature and the output that comes out is a normal temperature or a temperature below 370C, the door will open. On the other hand, if the output temperature is above 38% Celsius, the door will not open. From the results of testing this tool system, the percentage of success obtained from this tool is 100% and the error percentage is 0%.
