Abstract
This research aims to determine the effectiveness of a tool that can measure soil moisture sensor using android smartphone based on a WIFI network. This research was carried out from July 2021 to August 2021 at the Energy and Electrification Laboratory of the Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The method used in this research is an experimental method with the presentation of the results using descriptive data in the form of tables and graphs. The research method consists of several stages, namely literature study, preparation of tools and materials, system design consisting of hardware design and software design and tool effectiveness testing. Parameters observed are system design, accuracy and precision. The results of this study indicate that the accuracy test gets an average measurement of 98.42% and for precision testing it gets an average measurement of 99.47%.
