Abstract
Electrical energy is one of the daily needs that is widely used by the community. The use of electricity is currently increasing which is needed to improve the quality, productivity, and creativity of the equipment that will be used. Generators on the market are electrical components that are continuously being used and are included in the type of high speed induction generator that requires high rotational speed and very large costs. This study aims to design and manufacture a single-phase radial flux permanent magnet synchronous generator with low speed and analyze the output value of the radial flux single-phase magnetic synchronous generator with low rotational speed both with and without load. The parameters used in this study are the generator's maximum flux density, the maximum magnetic flux value, the generator rotor rotational speed, EMF induction, and the resulting generator frequency. This single-phase radial flux generator can be designed with specifications of 1 stator and 1 rotor using 12 pole neodymium magnets or 30 magnets with an air gap of 0.4 mm. Then in each stator there are 27 coils with a diameter of 0.75 mm having an average number of turns of 50 turns. The maximum generator output power value without using a load is when the rotational speed is 483 rpm with a value of 0.0021825 watts. Meanwhile, the maximum generator output power value using a load is 0.0018584 watts.
