Waste from settlements and industries that enter the waters can pollute the waters. One of the sources of pollution is heavy metals. Metals Cadmium (Cd), Copper (Cu) and Lead (Pb) are some very dangerous heavy metals. The Musi River estuary is an area where sediment and substances accumulate from waste carried by water. Boleophthalmus boddarti fish is one of the many fish found in the Musi River Estuary. This fish has high protein and can be used as bioactive compounds. However, if the body of gelodok fish accumulates heavy metals at high levels, it can endanger the health of humans who consume the fish. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the levels of heavy metals Cd, Cu and Pb in gelodok fish meat in the waters of the Musi River Estuary, South Sumatra. The research was conducted from February 2021 to July 2021 in the Musi River Estuary, South Sumatra. The methods used in this study are survey methods and laboratory analysis. Heavy metal content in the sample was measured using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS). The results showed that the highest levels of heavy metals in sediments were Cu at 65.77 mg/kg at station 2 and the highest levels of heavy metals in Boleophthalmus boddarti fish meat was Pb at 1.73 mg/kg at station 1. Heavy metal levels of Cu in sediment at station 2 have exceeded the threshold value of 65 mg/kg and levels of heavy metal Pb in fish meat Boleophthalmus boddarti at station 1 have also exceeded the threshold value of 0.3 mg/kg, so it is dangerous if continuously consumed by humans. Keyword : Boleophthalmus boddarti, Musi River Estuary, Cadmium, Lead, Copper ABSTRAK Ekosistem Sungai Musi dari hulu hingga hilir telah banyak mengalami perubahan tata guna lahan, padatnya pemukiman dan industri. Limbah dari pemukiman dan industri yang masuk ke perairan dapat mencemari perairan. Salah satu yang menjadi sumber pencemar adalah logam berat. Logam Kadmium (Cd), Tembaga (Cu) dan Timbal (Pb) merupakan beberapa logam berat yang sangat berbahaya. Muara Sungai Musi merupakan wilayah dimana terakumulasinya sedimen dan substansi yang berasal dari limbah yang terbawa oleh air. Ikan gelodok Boleophthalmus boddarti merupakan salah satu ikan yang banyak terdapat di Muara Sungai Musi. Ikan ini memiliki protein yang tinggi dan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai senyawa bioaktif. Namun jika di dalam tubuh ikan gelodok terakumulasi logam berat dengan kadar yang tinggi, maka dapat membahayakan kesehatan manusia yang mengkonsumsi ikan tersebut. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan penelitian mengenai kadar logam berat Cd, Cu dan Pb pada daging ikan gelodok di perairan Muara Sungai Musi, Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Februari 2021 sampai dengan Juli 2021 di Perairan Muara Sungai Musi Sumatera Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode survei dan analisis laboratorium. Kadar logam berat pada sampel diukur menggunakan Spektrofotometer Serapan Atom (SSA). Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa kadar logam berat pada sedimen paling tinggi yaitu logam Cu sebesar 65,77 mg/kg pada stasiun 2 dan kadar logam berat pada daging ikan gelodok Boleophthalmus boddarti paling tinggi yaitu logam Pb sebesar 1,73 mg/kg pada stasiun 1. Kadar logam berat Cu pada sedimen di stasiun 2 sudah melebihi nilai ambang batas yaitu 65 mg/kg dan kadar logam berat Pb pada daging ikan gelodok Boleophthalmus boddarti di stasiun 1 juga sudah melebihi nilai ambang batas yaitu 0,3 mg/kg, sehingga berbahaya jika dikonsumsi terus-menerus oleh manusia.
