Abstract

One of the problems that arise in the distribution of electric power is that the amount of voltage supplied from the sending system is never the same as the voltage delivered to the receiving side (consumer). At each substation, the electric power system has several different feeders with the characteristics of each feeder. However, it is possible that there are feeders with similar characteristics. Thus, the magnitude of the comparison of the value of the voltage drop that occurs in a feeder that has similar feeder characteristics should not be much different. Therefore, a study was conducted to analyze the comparison of the value of the voltage drop on the two feeders at the Keramasan Substation. Based on the calculation results obtained from the Seribu feeder with a length of 7.029 km the voltage drop value obtained was 0,1363 kV with a percentage of 0.6862 %. Meanwhile, in the Papuan feeder with a length of 6.743 km the voltage drop value obtained based on the calculation is 0,0411 kV with a percentage of 0.2059%. The comparison of the value of the voltage drop between the two feeders is not much different, this is because the two feeders have almost the same feeder length characteristics, the type of conductor and the cross-sectional area used is the same.
