Abstract

Mining activities in the MTBU pit use an open pit system. Handling of coal at MTBU is done by two systems. The realization of coal stockpile 2 receipts in March amounted to 352,232.8 tons with a productivity target of 420,000 tons / month. Therefore it is necessary to evaluate the productivity in March to achieve a productivity target of 420,000 tons / month, in order to meet PT's stockpile 2 production target. Bukit Asam, Tbk. The purpose of this study is to analyze the handling of coal production, obstacles that affect the productivity of the reclaim feeder, and evaluation of efforts to increase coal productivity. The research method used in this research activity is to combine theory with actuality in the field. This research was conducted starting from the study of literature, field observations, data collection and data processing to increase coal productivity in the reclaim feeder. The results of the study found that the handling of coal on the mining front of the MTBU towards the reclaim feeder is done by two methods. The obstacle factor for the achievement of coal production based on field observations, it is known that the main factor influencing the production of reclaim feeder is the operator efficiency factor. Actual production achievement in March 2019 was 352,232.8 tons and theoretically 417,329.44 tons of the planned target. By maximizing work efficiency or minimizing obstacles that can be avoided productivity can increase to 572,694.30 tons / month.
