Abstract

The Provincial Government of the Bangka Belitung Islands and South Sumatra together with the Ministry of PUPR and proposed a bridge construction plan in the Bangka Strait. This development lies in the low economic growth in the surrounding Bangka Belitung Island due to limited access to Bangka Belitung Island causing price disparities, inflation, and basic commodities on Bangka Belitung Island. The Ministry of PUPR has prepared funds for the construction of the Bangka strait bridge in the amount of Rp. 15 trillion with three development plans, namely Tanjung Punai Village (West Bangka Regency) and Juru Taro Village (Banyuasin Regency), with a bridge length of 22.6 kilometers, Tanjung Pura Village (Central Bangka Regency) and Sungai Batang Village (Ogan Komering Ilir Regency) (OKI) ) with a bridge length of 23.1 km, and the villages of Sebagin (South Bangka Regency) and Tanjung Tapa (Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) Regency) with a shorter bridge length of 15.2 km. To determine the best location required pre-study of the project. In this final project focus on the pre-study of economics and finance. Of the three planned bridge study locations, from the financial aspect, the three locations are feasible, the Tanjung Pura-Sungai Batang Bridge as the longest financial bridge of 23.1 km has the largest BCR value, namely BCR 1.17 > 1. However, in the economic aspect of the three The research location with a BCR value of < 1 is not feasible to be built by the private sector so that it requires subsidies from the government.
