Abstract
Recognition aims to determine a person's health condition in an effort to prevent diseases that can interfere with the activities and work of the workers. This recognition also aims to minimize the occurrence of degenerative diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease and stroke. To prevent the risk of the disease, a Workplace Health Promotion (PKDTK) is carried out for workers in order to reduce losses for both workers and company agencies. This study aims to determine the initial health of workers at Sriwijaya University, especially the workers of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and the Faculty of Public Health and seen from a healthy lifestyle which consists of several aspects, namely diet. rest patterns, exercise patterns, smoking habits and stress levels. This study uses descriptive research methods and uses a qualitative approach in order to obtain and find out more specific data regarding healthy lifestyles by conducting blood tests, conducting more detailed questions and answers and direct observations. Test the validity of the data using source triangulation techniques and method triangulation. In this study involved 18 people as informants. After the research was conducted and it was found that each faculty did not have a program for regular employee blood checks, 1 faculty had implemented a healthy canteen, 1 faculty had implemented routine exercise in the form of gymnastics every Friday while the other 1 faculty almost never did exercise because low interest in workers, 1 faculty has a smoke detection device in the office and lecture hall so that it can be detected immediately if someone smokes, and there are refresher activities carried out by each faculty.
