Abstract

HIV is one of the diseases that cause serious world epidemic because it is a formidable challenge for development and social progress for all countries in the world. In Indonesia, in 2018 as many as 109.687 people were living with HIV status. One og the key population spreaders HIV is occurring in the male sex male (MSM) community. This research aims to determine the risk factors for the incidence of HIV in men who have sex in DKI Jakarta dan Papua. This study uses secondary data from 2018-2019 IBBS ewith a cross sectional research design. The sample in this study is all MSM din DKI Jakarta dan Papua that meet the inclusion criteria are opened as many as 686 peoples. Bivariate analysis using chi-square test and analysis multivariate using multiple logistic regression predictive factor model. Result bivariate analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between marital status (p=0,006) and HIV test (p=0,000) of HIV among MSM in DKI Jakarta in 2018-201 and the result of multivariate analysis showed that there was an association significant relationship between marital status and HIV testing of HIV among MSM, while in Papua, MSM tenr to have marital status (p=0,006), age at first time sexsual intercourse (p=0,030) and HIV test (p=0,022) and these variables have a significant relayionship. Result this research is expected to be the basis for reducing the prevalence incidence of HIV and can be used as a source of information for MSM respondents, especially MSM who experience in order to prevent the occurrence of HIV transmission that can causes AIDS.
