Abstract
This study discusses the "Midwife and TBAs Partnership Program".This research was conducted in Rukun Rahayu Village, Jirak Jaya District,Musi Banyuasin Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine theprocess of implementing socio-cultural factors that encourage people to use the partnership program between midwives and traditional birthattendants. This study was analyzed by qualitative research methods. The research strategy used is a case study with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. This research uses the partnership concept from Rosmaladewi and Notoatmodjo, and the socio-cultural concept from Ranjabar Jacobus. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the partnership between midwives and traditional birth attendants in the village of Rukun Rahayu is carried out in a simple form of cooperation. This is viewed from the input aspect: The implementing staff in the partnership between midwives and traditional birth attendants consists of 6 members of midwives, traditional birth attendants, and village health nurse. Other supporting resources such as funds and special infrastructure for the implementation of this partnership do not yet exist. Process Aspect: Program planning, midwives and traditional birth attendants do not have any joint activities. Socialization to traditional birth attendants was only carried out once and training for midwives and traditional birth attendants was not carried out. Output aspect: In the implementation of the program there is no specific division of tasks and functions between midwives and traditional birth attendants.they do it by helping each other. Outcome Aspect: There are still 3 traditional birth attendants out of 6 traditional birth attendants who have not tested with a midwife, Maternal and Child Health in Rukun Rahayu Village has increased, and community trust in village midwives has also increased. The socio-cultural factors that encourage people to use the partnership program between midwives and traditional birth attendants are because it has become a habit for people to use the services of traditional birth attendants, and still the level of public confidence in the expertise of traditional birth attendants.
