Abstract

Strategy analysis using the SWOT method (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) is an organizational model that aims to analyze organizational conditions more comprehensively. With the obstacles in the Trauma Center Service UPTB, the Regional Disaster Management Agency of South Sumatra Province, a strategy is needed so that the Trauma Center service can develop. This study aims to analyze the strategy of trauma center services at the Regional Disaster Management Agency of South Sumatera Province. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research method. Informants in this study are 30 people including the Head of UPTB Trauma Center, Medical Personnel and Staff at UPTB Trauma Center and strategy formulation, IFAS and EFAS matrices, Cartesian diagrams, SWOT analysis and alternative strategies. The results showed that IFE had a total score of 2.83, which means that the UPTB Trauma Center BPBD South Sumatra Province is in a strong internal position in carrying out the strategy of utilizing strengths to find out weaknesses. While the EFE value is 2.617, which means that the UPTB Trauma Center of South Sumatra Province has a greater opportunity than the threats that will be faced later. In developing alternative strategies based on the SWOT diagram, it is known that the UPTB Trauma Center BPBD South Sumatra Province is in quadrant I, which means that the UPTB Trauma Center BPBD South Sumatra Province requires an aggressive strategy. In addition, based on the QSPM calculation in the table, it shows that the alternative strategy gets the highest TAS value of 4.35, which means that the aggressive strategy is the strategy with the highest ranking. UPTB Trauma Center and The Regional Government of South Sumatera Province can coordinate with each other in creating an appropriate disaster-prone information system in the implementation of disaster control services.
