Abstract

This research aims to analyses the effect of pendapatan asli daerah (PAD) and dana perimbangan on Capital expenditure in Regency of Banyuasin. Research finding shown that during period of y e ars 2004-2007, PAD has a little effect on Capital expenditure and there is decreasing on that effect for 4 years. It is because little contribulion of components from PAD. While dana perimbangan has a significant effect on Capital expenditure and average in 4 years this effect is decrease. A significant effect occurs because there is a big grant of component from dana perimbangan. Decreasing on effect of PAD and dana perimbangan on Capital expenditure because of there is a high increasing on Capital expenditure. To follow a high increasing on Capital expenditure, suggested for Regency of Banyuasin to explore economic potential in region to increase PAD. In order give increasing of effect on Capital expenditure. So that, self govemment in pay for Capital expenditure will increase.
